If I post a link to a group, does it bring up a nice preview? No... it just brings up an Embed with link preview to the Groups page. This is because Peepso puts a ? like a query string marker at the beginning of the group name. So the embed code only shows up the Group page, thinking that the page linked to is groups/ and that the group name part of the URL is a query string. This is a huge weakness. My users complain all the time that when they try to promote their groups, it doesn't come up with the pretty cover photo they expect. When they post the same link to Facebook, the FB preview for the link recognises it as a separate group page and displays it nicely (in part because I add my own OpenGraph tags in the header via a snippet I wrote). Is there a reason you have chosen to mark the front of your query strings with a ?...? When you have control over rewrites of the URLs anyway, you could have chosen a different character or marker... like two -- or well, anything. Is it something that can be changed or is there a workaround you can think of... so that we can start seeing pretty previews of our groups when shared on our sites? https://stg.peepso.com/groups/?announcements/
